Welcome to the Department of Student Services, where our primary objective is to deliver high-quality education, mental health services, and facilitate access to community resources for students across a spectrum of needs, encompassing general education classrooms and those requiring special education services. Our approach prioritizes fostering an environment conducive to learning while also increasing students' access to Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) and a Thorough and Efficient Public Education.
We adhere to the belief that the advancement of student development requires a multifaceted approach. This involves furnishing academic support, cultivating a secure school environment, nurturing collaborative home-school relationships, and furnishing access to a comprehensive social-emotional learning curriculum alongside counseling, and mental health services.
Core Beliefs and Educational Philosophy:
We maintain the belief that every student possesses the capacity to learn, provided there is concerted effort from students, families, educators, and the broader community to support their academic journey. We aim to realize this by broadening the scope of inclusive opportunities across all grades and academic levels.
Our staff, faculty and administration, promote the belief that enhancing students' and families' accessibility to community resources, coupled with comprehensive training for faculty and staff, and invigorating the partnership between home and school, will yield positive outcomes in terms of academic achievement and socio-emotional well-being.
